To turn on automatic updates

1.	Open System in Control Panel.
2.	On the Automatic Updates tab, click either of the first two settings.

To turn off automatic updates for your computer, select Turn off automatic updating; I want to update my computer manually. If you choose not to use automatic updating, you can always install specific updates from the Windows Update Web site. Open Windows Update in Help and Support Center.
