To uninstall your keyboard driver

You must be logged on as an administrator or a member of the Administrators group in order to complete this procedure. If your computer is connected to a network, network policy settings may also prevent you from completing this procedure.

1.

Open Keyboard in Control Panel.

2.

On the Hardware tab, click Properties.

3.

On the Driver tab, click Uninstall.

4.

If you are prompted to restart your computer, click Yes.

Note

To open Keyboard, click Start, click Control Panel, click Printers and Other Hardware, and then click Keyboard

The Uninstall button is unavailable if removing the driver would make your keyboard unusable.
