What uses of photos, clip art, and font images are prohibited?

Although these examples do not represent an exhaustive list, you are not permitted to do any of the following:

Sell or redistribute the photos, clip art, or fonts as stock photography, clip art, or fonts.

Use any of the photo or clip art images related to identifiable individuals, entities, or products for any commercial purposes or in a manner that might imply their endorsement of or association with any product, service, or entity. If you want to use a particular photo or clip art image to identify or represent your company, product, or service, you should consult a competent attorney, because certain uses of some photo or clip art images might infringe the trademark rights of third parties.

Use a specific government, company, or person's name, initials, or emblem for any commercial purposes or in any manner that might express or imply endorsement or sponsorship of any commercial product, service, or activity.

Create obscene or scandalous works, as defined by the Courts at the time the work is created, by using the photo, clip art, or font images or any modification of the photo, clip art, or font images.

Use the photo, clip art, or font images in electronic format, including online use and multimedia applications, unless all of the following conditions are met: (a) the images are incorporated for viewing purposes only; (b) the images do not make up a large portion of the content of the application; (c) no permission is given to download and save the images for any reason, and (d) the application is not a product that is similar to or competes with any of the features of any Microsoft product.
