To enable IPv6 forwarding
1. | Open Command Prompt |
2. | At the command prompt, type: ipv6 if to obtain the interface index of the interface over which the forwarding of received packets is being enabled. |
3. | At the command prompt, type: ipv6 ifc InterfaceIndex forwards where InterfaceIndex is the interface number for the interface. If you want the computer to additionally send Router Advertisement messages, at the command prompt, type: ipv6 ifc InterfaceIndex forwards advertises |
4. | Repeat step 3 for all interfaces over which forwarding is enabled. |
