To view infrared device properties
1. | Open Wireless Link in Control Panel. |
2. | On the Hardware tab, click the infrared device for which you want to view properties, and then click Properties. |

| • | To open a Control Panel item, click Start, click Control Panel, and then click the appropriate icon. |
| • | The Wireless Link icon appears in Control Panel only if an infrared device is already installed on your computer. |
| • | If a device that is connected to your computer is not listed, you need to add it. For more information, see Related Topics. |
| • | The infrared device Properties dialog box shows the device status, driver files, and power management settings for an infrared device. |
