MSIA Alert: Please read before you install!
Welcome to the Microsoft® Software Inventory Analyzer. Using this tool, you can generate an inventory of core Microsoft products installed on your local computer, or throughout a network. The MSIA is built specifically to be a starting point to working with SAM, and to that end, it will work with networks that have 250 computers or less; and will locate only Microsoft software. Also Please note: The results of the scan performed by MSIA are completely confidential and not sent to Microsoft.

Note: We have received a few reports of printing errors within Internet Explorer associated with MSIA and recent software updates. If you are having difficulty, we recommend uninstalling MSIA (you may temporarily reinstall to use as needed). Please visit this MSDN Blog for additional details. We will be posting an updated version of the MSIA tool by the end of July, and apologize for any inconvenience you may experience in the interim.
