New Software Check-In
When your customer receives new software, what happens? Is the software sent to the department that requested it, or is it sent to the IT department for proper check-in? Having a software check-in list is critical if your customer wants to keep their software and license inventory up-to-date. Following just a few quick steps when new software arrives will help ensure your customer doesn’t over-order certain software titles and will make future inventories much faster and easier. Work with your customer to develop a checklist that will be easy for the appropriate employees to complete while still collecting the data and storing license documentation in a safe location.
