Zune
Zune

 Error ID: C00D1197

Summary

Zune software cannot find the file.

Cause

Typically, this error occurs when you try to play a file that has been moved, renamed, or deleted from your computer. However, it can also occur when you try to play a file that is stored on a computer that is not currently available.

Things To Try

Try one or more of the following:

  • If you are trying to use a file in the Zune software library, the file may have been moved, renamed, or deleted from your computer. If you moved the file, try moving the file back to its previous location. If you renamed the file, try renaming the file back to its original name. If you deleted the file, try retrieving it from the Windows Recycle bin. If the problem persists, delete the item from the library (right-click the item in the library, and then click Delete).

  • If you are trying to use a file that is stored on another computer, you might not be connected to the network. Verify that you are connected to the network, and then try again.

  • If you are trying to use a file that is stored on a server, try again later. The server might be busy or temporarily unavailable.

  • If you are trying to use a file that is stored on another computer, the proxy server settings for Zune software might not be configured properly. Verify that your proxy settings are correct.
