Enterprise Platforms

Enterprise Platform Support (EPS) is one of the largest service clusters at Microsoft GBS and is a part of a global network that has over 50 million customer touch points on an annual basis and provides services to the Enterprise Customer segments.

The Enterprise Platform Support team provides high end technical support to system/network administrators working on windows operating systems. Issues that an engineer would troubleshoot consists of Server Down-No boot-Hang situations, complex Active Directory Replication, kernel memory leaks, IPSEC Configuration, DNS, VPN/RADIUS, WSUS and server products like ISA, SCCM/MOM/SCOM. Our Engineers engage with the customer to understand their technical environment, use trace analysis, source code review, and other debugging tools to analyze the problem and arrive at the solution to the extent of working with the product development group to fix bugs or design change requests.

Windows Server products are used in almost every enterprise by all segments of customers like Premier, Professional, Personal and Home. Windows is the biggest product segment of Microsoft generating about 70% of its revenue. Windows 7 being the latest offering in pipeline.
