Windows Live Platform enables a critical paradigm shift from traditional software shipped in the “box” to software based Internet services.
Microsoft Development Center Serbia, in Belgrade, will play an important role in enabling this transition. We have an open International Vendor position for a smart, flexible and driven Software Development Engineer in Test.
You will work on developing the testing tools for testing the accuracy, performance, robustness and features of the Document Layout Analysis cutting edge software components developed within the Center. You will work closely with the client teams in Redmond and the testing tools you develop will integrate into Microsoft’s existing testing tools and methodologies.

Given the increased importance of GPS enabled devices, geographic data processing will become one of the key business scenarios for many database applications in the present and near future.
We have two open Contingent Staffing positions for smart, flexible and driven Software Development Engineers.
As part of the SQL team in Belgrade, you will develop cutting edge database technologies related to beyond relational data processing which will be delivered as part of SQL Server Engine in the future releases. Specifically, you will work on spatial type libraries which will be used for planar, geographic, 3D and raster processing. You will have an opportunity to work with industry experts from various fields such as database processing, applied mathematics and systems. You will work on one of the most advanced code basis in Microsoft enterprise offering. You will have an opportunity to learn intricate details of SQL type system and SQL kernel. You will learn a wealth of knowledge related to systems, reliability, performance and concurrent processing.
