Tech·Ed 2004 offered 11 comprehensive conference tracks. Attendees had the option of staying within one track or choosing from sessions across tracks to build the educational experience that best suited their needs. Tech·Ed 2004 offered access to many other event programs too, including keynotes, Hands-on labs, and more.
Microsoft Tech·Ed 2004
Each year, Tech·Ed offers an educational submersion experience to re-energize developers and IT professionals. It's an opportunity to connect with peers who share similar interests and challenges, while receiving the latest information to optimize the effectiveness of technology tools and information.

Conference Tracks: The Tech·Ed 2004 conference included over 400 breakout sessions in 11 tracks on key technology areas, including Microsoft Windows infrastructure, security, management, messaging, data management, developer tools and technologies, Mobile PC and devices, and much more.

Pre-Conference Sessions: Registrants were able to supplement their regular conference attendance with one of 12 pre-conference sessions. With topics ranging from Implementing Server Security: Focusing on Microsoft Active Directory to Moving to ASP.NET and IIS 6.0: Practical Planning, Deployment, and Management Hands-on Lab, these sessions helped round out learning at Tech·Ed 2004.

Breakout Sessions: Our technical gurus and top industry experts talked about the latest Microsoft products, tips, tricks, and best practices.

Birds of a Feather: Birds of a Feather sessions were the place where Tech·Ed attendees could connect with others with similar interests. These informal, information-packed sessions were sponsored by the International .NET Association (INETA).

Meet the Technologists: Attendees had the chance to join breakout session speakers, industry experts, and Microsoft staff in the Community Lounges to drill down into track-specific sessions and get answers to important technical questions.

 
Hands-on Labs: In Hands-on workshops, attendees built skills and gained a deeper understanding of key Microsoft products. Hands-on Labs hardware was provided by HP. Search for relevant Hands-on Labs.
