Native x64 Software from Microsoft

Microsoft is continuously expanding the availability of native x64 Windows Server products, and many are already available, enabling you to take full advantage of your x64 server hardware today.

Microsoft applies the Common Engineering Criteria (CEC) during product development. These guidelines include requirements regarding current and future support of 64-bit technologies. Updated each year, the CEC establish a common set of requirements across infrastructure server software products in an effort to help customers improve reliability, security, and manageability while reducing total cost of ownership.
