Silverlight Valentine's card FAQ
Q: How do I create my customized Valentine's card?
A: There are four steps:
Q. I selected a picture and now I cannot seem to close the dialog, what should I do?
A. This is by design, select another button and the dialog will disappear.
Q. I have photos in my Windows Live Spaces account but I can't select any, what is wrong?
A. You can only use photos that are designated to public consumption. If you want a picture to be used, define it as a public access picture.
Q. I selected many photos from my Windows Live Spaces account but only one photo is selected in the card, why is that?
A. The application only supports one image to be used in the greeting.
Q. I have photos in my Flickr account but I can't select any, what is wrong?
A. You can only use photos that are designated to public consumption. If you want a picture to be used, define it as a public access picture.
Q. I have public photos in my Flickr account but I can't seem to log in, what is wrong?
A. You need to use your Flickr screen name. If you are using the correct name and still can't log in, you may need to enable your Flickr account to work with the greeting card application. To do that you need to uncheck 'hide my profile from searchers'. Then try again. You can restore the original setting once done.
Q. I like this application, who designed it?
A. It was done by Aeshen and by Wunderman
Q. I have a flickr account and when I enter it, it shows picture of someone else account, why is that?
A. The application requires the account name rather than the user name. The account name is what shows when you browse to your account and see a headline Account name's pictures.
Q. I still have problems and cannot seem to know what do, where can I get more information?
A. Email to: slval@microsoft.com and specify the exact issues you had with the application.
Q: I try to log in to my Windows Live Space account and the login Windows closes on me, how can I log-in successfully?
A: The issue is originated in the expiry time of the Live ID browser cookie. To solve: Visit msn.com, click in the upper right corner and choose "logout". Complete the logout sequence and then try sending your card again.
Q. I received a Valentine's card with abusive text in it. How do I report it?
A. Send email to Report abuse and include a description of the abuse specifying who you got the message from and the URL you received. We will process it appropriately.
