Terms and Conditions
1. This Lucky Draw Series is open to all persons ordinarily resident in Singapore.
2. Employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives and their immediate family members, subsidiaries, affiliates, and promotion agencies of Microsoft Singapore Pte Ltd ('Microsoft') are not eligible to participate in the Lucky Draw Series.
3. Only qualifying purchases made from participating retailers would entitle you to participate in this Lucky Draw series. Not all retailers selling Microsoft products are participating retailers. It is your responsibility to verify if a particular retailer is a participating retailer. 'Qualifying purchases' is defined as purchases of genuine copies of Windows XP (Professional or Home Editions) marked with 'OEM Product' on the Certificate of Authenticity.
4. Multiple entries to this Lucky Draw Series are permitted. However, only official entry forms ('Entry Forms') are valid. Photocopies of the Entry Form are not valid. Each Entry Form must be legibly completed in English and have the retailer's company stamp affixed and be accompanied by proof-of-purchase receipt.

6. Microsoft anticipates that the monthly Lucky Draws shall be held on 28/04/2004, 28/05/2004, 28/06/2004, 28/07/2004 and 28/08/2004. Microsoft anticipates that the Grand Draw shall be held on 28/09/2004.
7. To qualify for the monthly Lucky Draws and Grand Draw, Entry Forms must reach the above address at least 5 business days before each respective draw date. Microsoft accepts no responsibility for any Entry Forms that are lost, incomplete, not received or miss the deadline for any reason whatsoever. Proof of postage shall not constitute proof of receipt by Microsoft. For the avoidance of doubt, Sundays and Public Holidays do not constitute business days for the purposes of these Terms and Conditions.
8. Microsoft will take all reasonable steps to notify all winners. Winners will be notified by post. Any prize notification returned to Microsoft as undeliverable or undelivered, or any prize not claimed within two months of notification, will be void.
9. Entry Forms that are not drawn will roll-over to the following month's draw.
10. All prizes are non-transferable nor exchangeable for cash, credit or any other item. Prizes must be claimed by the prize winners in person. Prize winners must produce identity cards or passports for verification. 11. Prizes for the monthly Lucky Draws are as follows:

12. The Grand Draw Prize is a Toshiba 26' LCD TV.
13. Microsoft may at its sole discretion at any time substitute or replace any advertised prizes with any other prizes of equal or similar value. All applicable taxes are the sole responsibilities of prize winners.
14. Admission of Entry Form constitutes permission to Microsoft to use, at its discretion, sound and visual material of the participant in any form of media, art, advertising, trade, visual documentary, promotional material, merchandise or film coverage without any compensation to the participant or approval from the participant unless prohibited by law. Any personal data about the participant that is collected on the Entry Form or otherwise will be used to establish the participant's identity and for marketing and promotional purposes, including contacting the participant directly to inform him/her of new services or products. The participant's personal data may also be transferred to and used for similar purposes by affiliates of Microsoft.
15. Microsoft may, at any time at its sole discretion and without prior notice, vary, modify, delete or add to these terms and conditions and may also withdraw or discontinue any of the scheduled Lucky Draw Series at any time without any notice or liability to the participants.
16. In no event shall Microsoft and/or its affiliates be liable to the participant for any monetary amount greater than the value of the advertised prizes (or their substitutes) due to the prize winner under the Terms and Conditions of this Lucky Draw Series.
17. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Microsoft and/or its affiliates shall not be liable to the participant in contract, tort or negligence or otherwise for any loss, damage, costs or expense of any nature whatsoever incurred or suffered by the participant and which is of a direct or indirect or inconsequential nature, including without limitation any economic loss or other loss, arising out of or in connection with the lucky draw.
18. The decision of Microsoft on all matters relating to or in connection with the lucky draw shall be final and binding on all parties concerned.
19. By participating in this Lucky Draw Series, participants will be deemed to have read and agreed to abide by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any illegal or unenforceable provision will be severed from these terms and conditions and will not affect the continued operation of the remaining provisions.
