The School Technology Innovation Centre (STIC) focuses on showcasing innovative education solutions from Microsoft as well as our partners, in partnership with the Department of Basic Education in South Africa and Ministries of Education around Africa. Windows MultiPoint Server is one such innovative solution which will also be launched at this event. The STIC programme also concentrates on testing, research, evaluation and development of new solutions relevant for teaching and learning and is therefore the ideal platform for capacity building and knowledge sharing for teachers and the education community.

The STIC was originally launched in 2007, and in order to expand on the programmes offered, the STIC has moved to the Sci-Bono Centre.
Please join Microsoft and our partners in celebrating the re-opening of the School Technology Innovation Centre.

Deputy Minister of Basic Education, Mr ME Surty will present a keynote address.
