Express Yourself at the Microsoft Academy for University Hires

The Microsoft Academy for University Hires (MACH) is a two year program designed to take on passionate graduates and MBAs and set them on one of many diverse career paths across Microsoft’s Sales, Marketing and Services group.

Over the course of the program we’ll provide you with the theoretical and practical skills you need to complement your academic achievements. We’ll also ensure that you have the business acumen to make a real difference at the highest levels. By the time you graduate from MACH, you’ll have the language to express yourself compellingly, the tools to take on any challenge and the ability to deliver solutions with the power to touch the lives of people all over the world.

What Do I Need?

We are looking for people with a passion for technology. Participants must have excellent English and interpersonal communication skills. You’re a strategic thinker, able to balance your individual creativity with working as a team. A high degree of customer and partner focus is also important.

What Can I Expect?

The Sales, Marketing and Technical programmes are two-year international graduate courses. The first year is structured academy training, and the second focuses on career development. The programmes are for participants with less than 18 months of work experience. Though challenging, they equip you with the skills and know-how required for a rewarding career.

The Sales Programme

This programme is geared towards business-related graduates or postgraduates. Participants will learn Microsoft sales propositions, which will help you achieve a sales position in a local account team.

This programme is aimed at graduates and postgraduates with strong academic business and marketing qualifications. Participants will learn the marketing culture at Microsoft in preparation for a marketing position in a local team.

The Technical Programme

This programme is designed for technically-oriented graduates or postgraduates. Participants work towards highly-regarded technical achievements, such as the Microsoft Certified Solutions Engineer (MCSE) qualification, and achieve an in-depth understanding of Microsoft technologies and business practices. Your advanced knowledge and technical skills will help you achieve a technical position in a local Microsoft team.
