Process call control messaging and call signaling

Performs DTMF detection

Aculab Telephony Interface Manager (TIM)
Aculab's Telephony Interface Manager (TIM) allows Microsoft Speech Server based applications to be powered by Aculab's Prosody media processing resource cards and benefit from Aculab's extensive portfolio of protocols, for worldwide digital network access. Protocols include E1 and T1 interface connections, allowing prospects to be targeted in North America, Europe and Asia. The tight integration of the Aculab TIM with the Microsoft Speech Server specification means that all the low-level call control and resource provisioning is managed by the TIM. Working with an Aculab based platform, developers can put their energy into application development with the reassurance that their solution will be founded on globally deployed and proven technology. Founded in 1978, Aculab is a Microsoft Speech partner with head offices in the UK and regional offices in North America, Asia and EMEA. A beta of Aculab's TIM is now available on controlled release.
