Register for SQL Server Compact 3.5 Redistribution Rights
The Microsoft SQL Server Compact 3.5 is freely redistributable under a redistribution license agreement that requires registration. The SQL Server Compact 3.5 redistribution license agreement grants you the right to redistribute your software application with the following components:

If you are an independent software vendor (ISV) or solution integrator (SI) who will be building and shipping applications using SQL Server Compact 3.5 , you must sign-up for redistribution rights. We will inform you about the future product releases and hot fixes. ISV and SI redistributing SQL Server Compact need to service the client installation with the SQL Server Compact hot fixes/security related patches.
Registration is easy and only takes a few moments. To obtain a SQL Server Compact 3.5 redistribution license, you must:
