Real-Time GPS Support for Streets & Trips 2009

Know exactly where you are at every turn. Simply connect a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver to your laptop running Streets & Trips and find your exact location anywhere in the U.S. or Canada. To configure your GPS receiver, you must already have your GPS receiver connected to your computer.

  1. On the Tools menu in Streets & Trips, point to GPS, and then click Configure GPS Receiver.
  2. Click OK.

In order to configure your GPS receiver for use with Streets & Trips, its input/output format must be set to support the NMEA 0183 version 2.0 or later format. If you do not know if your GPS device supports this format, please see the documentation for your GPS receiver.

  • To see your current location using GPS: On the Tools menu in Streets & Trips, point to GPS, and then click Track Position.
