Thanks to your support earlier this month, my team is again partnering with United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and Facebook Causes on the "Gimme Shelter" campaign.
We are going to match another U.S.$10,000 to help UNHCR aid those who need it most.
For every U.S.$1 donated, we will match it with U.S.$1, until we meet our goaland we're looking for YOUR support to help achieve it.

To all that supported our recently launched Gimme Shelter campaign: You really rock! Thank you, personally, from me. Within seven days, our contribution of U.S.$50,000 was matched. And, with your friends and followers, the member list for the cause exceeded 75,000 people!
You can still join the cause at http://causes.com/refugee, since the more awareness we drive, the more we can help those that have been displaced.

By now, you've seen all the efforts that my team is doing with United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and Facebook Causes. This is because we've listened to you and your passions around helping others. Microsoft.com/Student is partnering with UNHCR and Facebook Causes on the "Gimme Shelter" initiative to raise awareness and funds for UNHCR emergencies.
You can participate in this campaign and help us make a difference to refugees by joining Microsoft.com/Student on Facebook. For every person who joins this cause, we'll donate U.S.$1. Also, Microsoft.com/Student will match every U.S.$1 donated until our goal is met.

It's time to take a quick 5 minute break from whatever you're doing for a fun video. This is a more humorous video we produced that will quickly demonstrate some of the new Internet Explorer 8 features. Take a look at our Student TV portal - I think you'll find it funny.
Beyond the humor, though, make sure you're considering IE 8 for your browser (if you haven’t already installed it). There are many features that will be helpful to you in school and social. We found IE 8 so helpful to us, that we have dedicated a page on our site for IE 8.

Ok, students, pull out your cell phones and SNAP this Microsoft Tag (http://www.microsoft.com/tag).

We just launched (v1 release) of a Microsoft Student MOBILE Experience last week, and it's something you should bookmark in your phones.

If you're a college student approaching graduation, the prospect of looking for your first job in the "real world" can be kind of intimidating, especially in today's tough market. Sure, you've spent years amassing fine academic credentials, internships, and campus activities. But how do you package up all that experience and make it speak for you in a way that perks up the ears of potential employers?
Well, you start with a killer resume.
