Microsoft Surface Lagoon is both a screen saver and an interactive water simulation, complete with a meditative rock arrangement and playful, shy fish! Use your fingers to manipulate the water and have the school of fish respond.

Using Microsoft Surface LagoonAs you explore Microsoft Surface Lagoon, you can:

  • Touch with one or more fingers to play with the water and make the fish swim away.
  • Touch-and-hold on the water to attract fish.
  • To close the screen saver, move your mouse, press a key on the keyboard, or tap the exit button in the upper-right corner.


You can change the following features in the Windows 7 Screen Saver settings:

  • Change the number of fish from 0 to 20!
  • Adjust the sound volume.
  • You can even use your own photo as the water background. See fish swimming across any image you choose!


Microsoft Surface Lagoon is a screen saver that is accessible in the Windows 7 Screen Saver control panel.
