Getting Started with the Samsung SUR40 for Microsoft Surface

 
Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. and Microsoft collaborate to deliver the next generation Surface computer - a unique Windows 7 PC designed for people to quickly and easily share content using touch and objects. The Samsung SUR40 for Microsoft® Surface®, with the Microsoft Surface 2.0 software platform ,PixelSense™ and a global network of more than 350 experienced Surface developers and solution providers, delivers exciting solutions for commercial customers who want to deliver experiences to their customers or employees that help them communicate, collaborate, and better connect with each other.
 
Samsung begins manufacturing SUR40 in December with general availability in North America, Europe and Middle East, and Asia in 2012. You can pre-order your SUR40 for Microsoft Surface units now. Please visit www.samsunglfd.com/solution/sur40.do to find the Samsung representative for your region.
 
Customers and partners can pre-order the Samsung SUR40 units, using the following steps:

1. Contact the local Samsung representative from the list at www.samsunglfd.com/solution/sur40.do
2. The representative will connect you to regional distributors and provide a detailed price quote, purchase process, and expected timelines for receipt of product.
3. Engage with a Surface partner for application development and deployment planning. Find partners for your industry at http://www.microsoft.com/surface/en/us/premierpartners.aspx

The Samsung SUR40 for Microsoft Surface will be available in 23 countries (see list below). Samsung is currently evaluating product demand in additional countries. Please contact the Samsung representative for your country to determine product availability. They will assess demand for the SUR40 product with English language Microsoft Surface 2.0 software in additional markets in a second phase product offering.
