Faculty Connection (FC) is a world-wide community platform for professors, teaching assistants, and other teaching faculty, interested in technical and design topics. It offers an immense repository of teaching and research material, as well as access to Microsoft products, forums and events.
Faculty Connection is made by community of professors from around the world. We invite professors to use and contribute to the content of the Faculty Connection. The site is divided into five sections:
Academic Resource Center: Offers a repository of curricula and in-class programs.
Articles: In-depth information on the latest technology news and trends.
Events: In-person seminars or on-demand Webcasts, this is the place to search for Microsoft events specifically tailored for faculty members.
News links: The FC Newslink is a way to see what’s new from Microsoft in Education.
Software: Faculty Connection offers a big variety of free software for download to Professors.
You can access and browse through the basic features of the Faculty Connection site without having to sign up. However, if you want to fully participate and use all the features included in the Faculty Connection, such as Software downloads, you should sign up and become a verified user. Registration and verification are free of charge.
