The participant affirms that he holds the necessary rights to the application(s), the descriptions and logos supplied to enable him to take part in the „Internet Explorer 8 Add-On WEB-Challenge“ competition and that the details he provided as part of his participation are accurate.

The participant agrees that the information supplied and uploaded by him as part of his participation ( , place of residence and description of application, the application itself) may be published as part of marketing activities by Microsoft Schweiz GmbH and be made available to the general public. For this purpose, Microsoft Schweiz GmbH may make the information publicly available in the „Internet Explorer 8 Add-On-Galerie“ or on another Microsoft site to download or showcase it as part of presentations (internal or external, e.g. at trade fairs, conferences, workshops or meetings).
Furthermore Microsoft Schweiz GmbH may incorporate the information in its advertising media or online catalogues, and use the information as part of press/PR coverage about the „Internet Explorer 8 Add-On WEB-Challenge“, the Microsoft Gallery or comparable general Microsoft Schweiz GmbH applications. No fee is payable.
The participant holds the necessary rights. He shall indemnify Microsoft against any third party claims, made by the latter against Microsoft in respect of information provided by and uploaded by him.

Microsoft Schweiz GmbH is entitled but not obliged to publish and promote the project or participant’s competition entry in accordance like mentioned above in particular, Microsoft Schweiz GmbH may delete published information at any time.

The participant agrees that Microsoft Schweiz GmbH may contact him using the contact information provided (esp. e-mail, phone), in order to inform him about other Microsoft products or services.
