We are pleased to launch the System Center Alliance program at Microsoft TechEd – IT Forum Europe in Barcelona, Spain. This program provides an online community to help partners more easily collaborate on the creation of solutions for System Center, as well as information about those solutions to our customers and our sales channels. New Operations Manager 2007 Management Packs (MPs) are being delivered every month. One of the most recent MPs is for SharePoint. Now one can apply the latest in management technology to monitoring Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and Windows SharePoint Services 3.0. These Management Packs monitor the health state of the components in a SharePoint environment that affect performance and availability. When there is an issue that may cause service or performance degradation, Operations Manager 2007 uses the MPs to detect the issue, alert the operator to its existence, and facilitate diagnosis and corrective actions.

In the November edition of the System Center Partner Newsletter, in the Partner Announcements From IT Forum, Barcelona, Spain, the link to Quest Software should have pointed to www.quest.com/system-center as being more intuitive for incoming partners, as well as for people to find Quest Software's System Center page more quickly.

On December 6, 2007, at the Sun Route Plaza Hotel in Shinjuku, Tokyo, there was a Core Infra Strategy press conference. Announced was the intent by partners NEC, MKI, and DIT to support System Center and Forefront solutions, to work closely with partners on these solutions, to appeal to the press that these solutions are indeed being supported by our partners, and to recap the launch of DPM, SCVMM, SCCM that occurred at ITForum. These additional partners provided comment and endorsement: IIJ, CTC, Apex, OSK, JBS, PSC, Dell, ATS, Fujitsu (in the work), Hitachi, F5, NTT data, FJB.
