System Center Reporting Manager (SCRM) 2006 is licensed on a per server basis only, regardless of the number of processors. SCRM 2006 does not require any management licenses or CALs.
SCRM 2006 requires Microsoft SQL Server 2005 to support its data integration and reporting activities. You can buy SQL Server separately.

Download the SCRM 2006 Trial Software
If you want to evaluate SCRM 2006, download the 180-day trial software. The trial software offers the full functionality of the release version. The trial version must be uninstalled or upgraded to a licensed retail version before the expiration of the 180-day period.
