Q: Will the Microsoft migration wizard migrate contacts from Lotus to Outlook?
Host Guest_JohnW_MS

Guest_Joshua

Guest_Domenick
Q: What utils r out there for migrating LN to Exchange ?
Host Guest_Paul_MS
A: There is the migration wizard to migrate users mail files.
Host Guest_Paul_MS
For simple application there is the application migrator. You can also coexist with the application connector
Host Guest_Paul_MS
For complex application you will really want to reasses the app and look at development tools for implementation and ongoing maintenance
Guest_JohnM

Host Guest_JohnW_MS

Host Guest_JohnW_MS

Host Guest_Darren_MS

Q: During Migration, when the AD Exchange Primary SMTP Address are created, we sometimes get the client's alias is used with a 2 added to the end (i.e. joes2@nait.ab.ca). Why?
Host Guest_Darren_MS
A: if the proxy address generator calculates the smtp address and finds a duplicate already in the directory it will append a number to ensure uniqueness. You can avoid this by altering the recipient policy to generate unique smtp addresses.
