Frequently it is necessary to install a specific list of application packages based on the location of the computer (effectively, each location has its own "role"). As in the previous scenario, the list of application packages to be installed can be specified in the CustomSettings.ini file or be retrieved from a database. Because the Zero Touch Installation rules engine is aware of the computer's location, using the default gateway (or default gateways, if the computer has multiple network cards) of the computer, this can be done fairly easily.
