MinFileBytesPerSec Metabase Property (IIS 6.0)
The MinFileBytesPerSec property is used to configure the minimum throughput rate that HTTP.sys enforces when sending data from the client to the server, and back from the server to the client. The MinFileBytesPerSec property prevents malicious or malfunctioning software clients from consuming resources by holding a connection open with minimal data. If the throughput rate is below the MinFileBytesPerSec setting, the connection is terminated.
In IIS 6.0, use this property in conjunction with the ConnectionTimeout property, and for Web service nodes, use the HeaderWaitTimeout property instead of the ServerListenTimeout property.
You can configure this property at the following locations in the IIS metabase.
For general code examples, see Code Examples to Configure Metabase Properties.
