Rebuilding the NNTP Service (IIS 6.0)
You can fix several common problems with the NNTP service by rebuilding it. Rebuild the NNTP service when:
| • | The virtual server does not start. |
| • | You delete internal newsgroup files accidentally. |
| • | You recover the system after a disk failure occurs. |
| • | Users cannot gain access to articles that they are authorized to read. |
| • | An error message that is written to the Event Viewer system log tells you to rebuild the server. |
