As part of the 2007 Winter Scripting Games the Script Center is profiling competitors who recorded a perfect score in the 2007 Scripting Games. Here, in his own words, is a little something about Carlos Alberto, who received a perfect score in the VBScript Beginners Division.

Carlos Alberto
A passion for new technologies; that's me. I always try to keep my eyes open and learn as much as possible about Microsoft products. I've been working in IT for 6 years, but I got my first PC when I was 10 years old. Of course (and thank God), things have changed since then, and now I can have a 2GB hard disk in my mobile phone, and my answering machine in my mailbox.
I work in São Paulo, Brazil, for Embratel, the biggest Brazilian telecommunication company. I am a system administrator, responsible for Microsoft Windows and UNIX/Linux servers. Most of my work these days consists in helping my consultant team to create new products for our company in a Unified Data Center with Telco and IT working together, as well working with blade and virtualized systems.

My Tips
| • | Ask as many questions as possible: Microsoft public newsgroup and TechNet forums are great places to ask experts and other knowledgeable users. |
| • | Play with scripts; Scriptomatic and Script Center can help you with that. |
| • | Keep your scripts organized; if you don't organize your scripts in about 1 month you will have already forgotten what you've done. |
