2008 Scripting Games

Tips for Beginners

The events in the Beginners Division of the 2008 Winter Scripting Games were purposely designed to be a little more difficult than the Beginners Division events in the 2007 Scripting Games. Why? Well, we wanted to make sure to cover beginners and the intermediate beginners. In addition, we decided to include events that not only tested basic scripting skills, but also made you work a little harder at the logical implementation.

That said, we still want to be fair about this. Being a beginner, you might need a small hint here and there. So we’ve provided a few additional resources to help you out a little.
