Use the following procedure to set a policy to disable unnecessary services within a Domain or to set a policy to disable unnecessary services for Domain Controllers. 1. | Open the Domain Security Policy or the Domain Controller Security Policy as applicable. | 2. | Expand Security Settings and click on System Services. | 3. | From the right-hand pane, select a service to disable. Right-click on the selected service and select Security. | 4. | In the Security Policy Setting dialog window, check the Define this policy setting box and then select the Disabled radio button. | 5. | Click the OK button. |
