Defining and Managing Security Templates

In a console from which group policy settings are managed, click the Group Policy object to which the security template is to be imported.

In the console tree, right-click Security Settings. Expand the following items:

Click Import Policy.

Click the security template to import. Note that the security settings are applied when the computer starts or as the group policy settings specify.
