The Branch Office Infrastructure Solution (BOIS) for Microsoft® Windows Server™ 2003 Release 2 (R2) provides detailed guidance to help medium to large organizations design branch office infrastructures into their environment. The goal of this effort is to minimize the total cost of ownership (TCO) and provide the most efficient and effective management possible, while still providing the required user experience for staff in branch offices.
