Introduction

This guide includes the information necessary to deploy and configure the perimeter and internal firewalls as well as the Web proxy and cache solution. The procedures in this guide were used in the test lab, which simulates real-world scenarios; however, most organizations will implement these solutions in different ways. The guidelines and scenarios described in this guide are intended to satisfy the general architectural needs of most organizations and the specific needs of the CDC and SBO scenarios.
