To resolve this event, do one or more of the following:
Make sure that you are using the latest hardware and software recommended by your VSS application vendor.
Make sure that you are running the latest Microsoft® Windows® and Microsoft Exchange Server updates for VSS. For information about Exchange Server updates and service packs, see Microsoft Knowledge Base article 906669, Issues that are fixed in Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 2.
In Event Viewer, examine the Application log and System log for relevant event messages. These event messages may provide additional information about the underlying issue.
Contact your hardware vendor for more help diagnosing the problem. For example, hardware vendors may be able to help you identify any firmware or device driver issues that may be causing the problem.
