| ProcFeatures v1.1By Mark RussinovichPublished: November 1, 2006 IntroductionProcessorFeatures is a no-frills applet that uses the Windows IsProcessorFeaturePresent API to determine if the processor and Windows supports various features such as No-Execute pages, Physical Address Extensions (PAE), and a real-time cycle counter. Its primary purpose is to identify system's running the PAE version of the kernel and that support no-execute buffer overflow protection.
