Download and Install the New Free MSN Toolbar

The free MSN Toolbar uses Microsoft Silverlight technology to provide you with access to Bing and MSN content. If you don’t already have Microsoft Silverlight installed on your computer, it will be automatically installed for you –for free. Just follow the instructions to download and install MSN Toolbar.

To install the MSN Toolbar, click Download Free Now, and follow the instructions. After installation, the MSN Toolbar appears at the top of your Internet Explorer browser window when you browse the Internet. The first time you open Internet Explorer after installing the Toolbar, the browser may take a few minutes to download MSN content to the MSN Toolbar.

Update to Newest MSN Toolbar Version

When a new version of the MSN Toolbar is available, a message appears on the MSN Toolbar that prompts you to update to the latest version. You can’t use the currently installed MSN Toolbar version until you’ve updated to the newest version.

The toolbar update alert will automatically update your MSN Toolbar to the latest version. On the MSN Toolbar, select Click here to download the required update. After the MSN Toolbar update has downloaded, Click Run. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the MSN Toolbar update.

512 MB of RAM or more, a 500 MHz processor or faster, 30 MB of free hard disk space,
Microsoft Silverlight, Windows XP with Service Pack 2 (32-bit version only) or Vista,
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 or later (32-bit version only)
