Microsoft is one of the top-10 best places to work in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, and Sweden.

Microsoft received this accolade in the Annual 100 Best Workplace Awards in 2007, for its effort to create a high-quality working environment. This year Microsoft was also recognised for demonstrating “best practices” in the area of ‘fairness’. They were also listed in the top five in the sub category of workplaces with 250 to 1000 employees.

In the 'Most Admired Companies of Turkey' survey run by Capital, Microsoft Turkey was awarded first place in the IT Sector category. Overall, Microsoft ranked 13th among employers.
