Pyrus have sent us the following statement concerning the Mac version of Composer. The Mac Composer press release got sent out early inadvertently. While Composer is finished, it's still in manufacturing and isn't ready to ship yet. It should be ready to go by the end of next week.

announcing the release of a Mac version of FontLab Composer seems to have jumped the gun. Although it's common knowledge that Yuri and the FontLab gang are working on a Mac version of the popular font editor, it's release was not expected for some time.
Cougar stalks HP campus

A group of 'free font activists' (for lack of a better description) are organizing a boycott of a certain font foundry because it pursues people who post their fonts to Web archive sites. The effectiveness of a boycott by people who don't actually buy fonts is expected to be less than successful.
