Guardian picks Miller

London, England - 26 April 1999
The Guardian, one of Britain's more respected newspapers, has been redesigned. The new look paper uses a specially redrawn version of Matthew Carter's Miller typeface.
The text font, Miller, designed by Matthew Carter in Boston, is already used in G2, (The Guardian's tabloid pull-out) but has been re-drawn for the broadsheet. The aim is for the font to be more readable without increasing the size.
