Arabic Dictionary Lab

"I am the head of a technology group within a research lab called "Arabic Dictionary Lab" involved in all aspects of modernizing and promoting the arabic language. One of the main areas of research is developing an arabic font based on a monumental script which uses a minimum set of letters.

This perhaps goes against the trend of current fonts which are based on the traditional cursive style.

The results obtained so far are very encouraging, and they may have a big impact on the way arabic is written and taught, especially with regard to modern machines and computers."
