GarageFonts is an independent type foundry with an international flavor.
The foundry was created in 1993 primarily as a vehicle to distribute the
experimental fonts used in Raygun magazine (then art-directed by David
Carson).
GarageFonts library illustrates the trend in design to be more experimental
and provide an alternative to traditional type. GarageFonts are created by
professional designers and art students from countries around the world,
including Australia, Canada, Iceland, Italy, Germany, The Netherlands,
Singapore and the US.
The GarageFonts library of over 400 unique faces includes everything from
distressed display type to crisp, clean text designs, along with a growing
collection of unusual image fonts. Each font is complete with international
characters, and all spacing, kerning, and construction have been thoroughly
tested. All GarageFonts are available in Type 1 PostScript and TrueType for
both Macintosh and PC platforms.
As we move into the 21st century, GarageFonts will continue the tradition
of offering unique, high-quality typefaces from talented designers all over
the world. To find out more about GarageFonts, visit our website at
