The man behind International TypeFounders and the Red Rooster Collection

Steve Jackaman has over 35 years’ experience in the type industry. He formerly owned major typesetting houses in London, Los Angeles, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. Originally from London, Steve now lives in the suburbs of Philadelphia.

He began Red Rooster in 1990 in conjunction with a team of highly skilled professional typographers, type designers and software experts as the core of his production team. Over the next four years, his team designed and produced 200 original and exclusive typestyles.

In 1995, a new corporation International TypeFounders, Inc., was formed under the leadership of Steve Jackaman.

All the typefaces are marketed and distributed as part of the Red Rooster Collection.

Red Rooster Collection fonts

Red Rooster Collection fonts are crafted to the highest professional standards. Each letter is hand-digitized, not scanned, to maintain the integrity of the original design. The basic letter fit is meticulously perfected. Each font contains a complete character complement, and include several thousand kerning pairs, allowing you to produce effortless quality typography.
