| Monday 23rd August | | Sarah of Reading | | | Hi Paula,
I just wanted to send you a message to let you know we’re thinking of you at this time and that we’re very proud of you.
You are an amazing lady and a source of insipration for all girls and women in sport in this country and I think that’s fantastic. I am a keen cyclist (with a big allergy to running J) and you even make me want to take up running!
All the best wishes for the future,
Kind regards,
Sarah

Well done on winning Gold again to the two of you, especially in very different boats this year, and to the rest of the sailing team out there. Hopefully some more medals to come.
Well done, and good luck to those of you still competing.

| Monday 16th August | | Zak from East Midlands | | | Hello Helen Palmer
I don't know if you will remember me. (Zak Crawford we had our photo taken at the East Midlands Winter Coaching session). I have had to use granddads email address, he also sends his best wishes to you and the rest of the team. I have made rapid progress in the last 9 months, so Laurence may have to think again about getting a gold medal in the 2012 Olympics. The results might not be a good as you would have liked, but you are still there, hopefully you will find the Zone. TV Coverage has been very poor we have to wait till Wednesday before we will see any archery on TV. I intended to attach a copy of the photo, but I cant find it, This year the British Flag carrier, 2012 watch out. GOOD LUCK. |
|
| Wednesday 18th August | | David from Northwich | | | Please pass on my congratulations to Stephen Parry for his fantastic efforts.
I sincerely hope his achievement spurs on the rest of the Team GB athletes.
Good luck to you all.

| Wednesday 18th August | | Richard from Stevenage | | | To: The Equestrian Team
Jeanette, William, Pippa, Mary and Leslie
I have watched you throughout all three events and I am proud that you have achieved so much with the Bronze within the Team effort and individually with Leslie’s Silver medal. However, you also deserve for those medals to be upgraded, as they were before the German appeal. I really hope that the team decides to appeal against the decision as those medals are rightfully yours. Will, I also hope that Tamarillo is back in action soon.
To: Nathan and Gail - Badminton
I was gripped by the fantastic game that you both played today. It truly had me on the edge of my seat! You are a great team, you communicate well and I hope that you win your match against China as you deserve that Gold medal. I’ll be watching and cheering you both on. Good luck!
To: Alison – Archery
I followed your progress thought the day and was thrilled when you received the Bronze, one of 3 medals won by Europeans in the event. I hope you really think about retirement from the game and for whatever you do regarding the event, I wish you the best of luck.
In regards to all those that I have missed out, including all those doing well in the sailing currently Winston who so narrowly missed out from a medal in the Judo, James in the 200m breaststroke who I wish good luck in the final and all those who have already completed their events or going to soon, you are all doing your country proud. Well done to you all.
Enjoy the Closing Ceremony!
Richard, 17 from Stevenage, Hertfordshire, GB |
