

Microsoft Student Partners are some of the brightest, most innovative student technology enthusiasts who are currently studying at a university in the UK. There are two types of Microsoft Student Partner: Technical and Marketing.

The MSPs are part of a one year programme which is designed to help students get the most out of Microsoft tools and technologies. MSPs will host free events on campus for students to attend which include the very latest news and prizes to be won. The MSP programme develops skills and gives students a head start in the ‘real world’ once they graduate and enter industry.
In return, MSPs get an annual subscription to MSDN, software giveaways, the chance to attend Microsoft hosted events and more.
MSPs communicate with the student body and faculty. They hold events which include workshops, demonstrations, competitions and more.
MSPs will benefit from a two day MSP Launch in September and will receive a start-up kit with materials to begin raising awareness about MS technologies and what is available for students.
MSPs will receive presentations and demonstrations of XNA, Silverlight and more, as well as have the opportunity to build their own games in XNA and Popfly. They will run competitions with fellow students.
MSPs will also be helping students enter in the Imagine Cup which is designed to reward the most innovative student developer for their themed programmes. To enter the competition and find out more visit the Imagine Cup Site.


This Brand New programme is aimed at a business/marketing student who can represent their University by running events and keeping the campus informed on the latest technology which is shaping technology academic and personal lives. We are currently recruiting so read on to find out more.
Marketing Microsoft Student Partner will run free and exciting events on campus focusing on technology such as Windows Vista and Office 2007. All materials will be supplied and MSPs will have opportunities to win fantastic prizes. Marketing MSPs will gain experience of running promotional campaigns, and competitions, Marketing Microsoft Student Partners will build student awareness around relevant products and services that can make a real difference to their academic lives.
