Surviving teamwork in the office

“Team work” is a great working ideal, but far too often the reality leaves a lot to be desired. And actually admitting you’d rather work independently can be a career limiting move.

Whether you want Geoff in accounts to stop going on about his home life and just deliver the work on time, or you wish Kate in marketing would be a bit more sociable, there’s at last something you can do about it.

By learning a little about the people you work with, and understanding the way in which you work best, you can survive and thrive in the office environment.

When putting together a presentation in PowerPoint you may need to add text to a shape (for example a circle or rectangle).

Some people try to add a text box on top of the shape. This creates extra work and makes future editing more difficult.

All you need to do is select the shape you want to use then start typing the text. The text will automatically appear centred on the shape.
