On 30th January 2008, the Institute of Directors hosted “An Audience with Bill Gates” at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London as part of the “World Leader Lunch” series. Talking about his views on the ‘Second Digital Decade’ and the IT innovations that are creating a “New World of Work”, Bill also announced the UK launch of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0.
Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0, the new version of Microsoft’ customer relationship management solution can either be installed “on-premise” on your organisation’s own computer services or accessed across the Internet via the “partner-hosted” option. Building on the success to-date of Dynamics CRM, the new version provides multi-currency and multi-language support and provides increased scalability to support organisations of all sizes. It also reduces the total-cost-of-ownership for enterprise organisations by simplifying ongoing management and security requirements. 32 Microsoft partners are already able to offer Dynamics CRM 4.0 as a “partner-hosted” offering.
