You can install different types of "add-in" programs for Office Excel that provide new features and enhance what you can do in Excel. You install add-ins in the following ways:

● You can choose to have some types of add-ins — such as the Analysis ToolPak and the Solver Add-in —installed at the time you install Microsoft Office.

● Additional add-ins for Excel can be downloaded from Microsoft Office Online and then installed.

You must load an Excel add-in before you can use it. You can then access the program within a specific tool group.

For instance, you find the Analysis ToolPak and Solver Add-in in the Analysis group on the Data tab. The Conditional Sum Wizard, Euro Currency Tools, Eurotool, Lookup Wizard are in the Solutions group on the Formulas tab.
